Currently a MSc student at NUS Business School, Akshay has worked at the intersection of sustainability, social impact, and ESG strategy, with a belief that real progress depends on how we measure, frame, and communicate impact. Previously at Sattva Consulting's Corporate Sustainability and Advisory practice, he partnered with companies to translate sustainability ambitions into grounded, actionable programmes spanning ESG frameworks, community development, education, gender equity, and skilling. His work took him into understanding community and ecosystem needs in rural South India and extended to advising some of India's top companies on carbon offset projects and carbon strategy. His signature engagement involved stewarding a $5 million sustainability and CSR portfolio for a leading French industrial conglomerate, orchestrating over 40 project partners across 11 geographies in India.
Beyond Sattva, Akshay has worked on AI initiatives at Apiphany and began his career in risk management. He brings to the panel a practitioner's perspective on what it takes to build systems and cultures where sustainability and well-being are valued, not just reported.
