How must economic and financial systems evolve to support prosperity within Planetary Boundaries?
The Planetary Health Check provides an annual scientific assessment of the state of our planet. Its latest findings show that seven of the nine Planetary Boundaries—the critical systems that regulate the stability and resilience of the Earth—have now been breached.
This is not only an environmental warning. The health of the planet underpins human health, economic prosperity and the security of every community and future generation.
The emerging Planetary Boundaries Initiative (PBI) aims to turn this science into action. Bringing together scientists, policymakers, Indigenous knowledge-holders, business leaders, investors and civil society, PBI will help track, assess and respond to the risks identified through the Planetary Health Check.
Hosted by NO.17 Foundation/TPC Group and Planetary Guardians, this private roundtable will bring together a carefully selected group of leaders from across philanthropy, investment, business, science and civil society. It will explore how the Planetary Health Check and PBI can provide a shared framework for decision-making—and how leadership, knowledge and capital can help move the world back towards a safe operating space.
