Mabel Lee is a certified Sogetsu Ikebana teacher whose work explores the meditative qualities of Japanese floral art. Through workshops, exhibitions and community programmes, she introduces participants to ikebana as a practice of mindfulness, creativity and quiet observation.
Her floral arrangements embrace simplicity, imperfection and the changing rhythms of nature, drawing inspiration from Zen philosophy and the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi. Rather than focusing solely on technical skill, Mabel encourages participants to experience flower arranging as an opportunity to slow down and cultivate presence.
She believes wellbeing grows through meaningful encounters with beauty, nature and the simple act of creating with intention.
